Learn more at themusicdistrict.org/membership.💥 C rash Course: Ear Health 💥Mon, Nov 16 | 6-8 pm | Little Brother (621) at The Music DistrictYour ears are one of your most important tools as a musician – so let's learn how to take care of them.Through hands-on demonstration and discussion, we'll break down what's actually happening in your ears and brain when you experience sound, how to protect yourself as both a performer and audience member, what to do after a particularly loud or damaging experience, and the pros and cons of different types of hearing protection.Whether you're rehearsing with the band, standing in the front row at a concert, or spending hours listening in headphones, you'll walk away with a better understanding of your hearing and practical tools to help keep it healthy for the long haul.Drop-in style, no prior knowledge or pre-reqs needed.- -CRASH COURSE is a weekly workshop series dedicated to equipping Music District Members with vital knowledge and skills needed to thrive in the music world 🌎 🎶With topics ranging from leveling up your booking strategy, to upping your songwriting chops, to sharpening the business aspects of your art, these ongoing sessions act as a quick-n-dirty guide for navigating a career in music.These workshops are drop-in style and introductory in nature, no prior knowledge or pre-recs are necessary.
