Second Sunday Stroll: Chasing Fall Color — November 8, 2026

As the days grow cooler and shorter, the greens of summer give way to autumn color. Let’s find and name as many trees as we can on this gentle walk. Emily, a Virginia Master Naturalist and Tree Steward, will lead you out and back, answering your natural history questions along the way. Meet in the parking lot at Stoney Creek Park off Stoney Creek West. Wear appropriate shoes and gear and bring water if you might need it. This hike is paced for people who like to take their time (rated easy-moderate). Please register in advance online. FREE.
