Fight the Frost Coat Drive Kick Off event

An ancient Icelandic legend tells of the Yule Cat, a monstrous Christmas Cat that prowls the snowy countryside, searching for those who haven't received new clothing for Christmas. But at the Phoenix, we're rewriting the legend. We're fighting the frost, feeding the spirit of giving (and the Yule Cat), and making sure our neighbors have something warm to wear this winter! Please join us at the Phoenix Brewing Company as we kick off FIGHT THE FROST: Ward Off the Yule Cat winter coat drive benefiting Wayfinders' homeless services. The Snowglobe Winter Ale releases at Noon on Saturday, along with our winter cocktail menu. HOW CAN YOU HELP? ---Bring a clean, gently used or new winter coat to donate between November 21 and December 5, 2026. Coats are needed for women, children, and men. ---Invite your friends, family, coworkers, and neighbors to participate. ---Share our event and help spread the word. Clean out your closets, or go shopping, however you can, to share some warmth and feed the Yule Cat. Every coat makes a difference, and every donation helps us push back against winter's cold. The Fight the Frost coat drive concludes on KRAMPUSNACHT, December 5, with one final call for coats before we celebrate another legendary visitor from winter folklore! Fight the Frost (and ward off the Yule Cat) in the 2026 annual coat drive for Wayfinders Homeless Services. Bring a coat, brave the cat, and have a beer!
