Imogen’s faith and chastity is then put in question by deceit. Meanwhile, Cymbeline’s kingdom is facing off with Rome in battle. Shakespeare’s romance is passionate and transfixing with a cross-dressed heroine, a comic villain, and two princes, lost in infancy, returning to demonstrate their nobility.
