Kit Pannill & Jacelyn Botti, Kit’s Garden in Palm Beach Book Reveal

Kit’s Garden in Palm Beach by Jacelyn Botti is an intimate and richly illustrated portrait of renowned horticulturist Kit Pannill and the extraordinary Palm Beach garden she has cultivated over more than four decades. Hear an intimate and lively discussion between the author and Kit only at GLAZER HALL! More than a book about plants, it is the story of a woman whose curiosity, creativity, and unwavering commitment to stewardship transformed a residential landscape into one of Palm Beach’s most remarkable private gardens. Through stunning photography and engaging narrative, readers are invited to explore a world of rare orchids, exotic tropical plants, towering ficus trees, and unusual botanical specimens chosen as much for their sculptural beauty as for their horticultural significance. Along the way, the book reveals Kit’s unique philosophy of gardening–one rooted in observation, patience, experimentation, and a lifelong desire to “see things grow.” The garden’s story extends beyond its gates, reflecting Kit’s enduring contributions to horticulture, conservation, and civic life in Palm Beach. From innovative preservation techniques and award-winning plant collections to public garden projects that have enriched the community, her influence can be seen throughout the island. Both inspiring and educational, Kit’s Garden in Palm Beach celebrates the transformative power of gardening and the legacy that can emerge when passion, purpose, and nature come together. It is a testament to beauty, stewardship, and a life devoted to cultivating both plants and community. Tickets include a copy of Kit’s Garden in Palm Beach signed by Kit Pannill and Jacelyn Botti.
