Celebration of Life for David Leigh Houtz. Friends, family, and the Ridgway community are invited to gather on Monday, August 17, from 3–6 p.m. at The Sherbino to share memories and celebrate David’s life. @ 3-6 pm || Sherbino Celebration of Life for David Leigh Houtz David Leigh Houtz was a familiar presence in Ridgway for decades. Many knew him through his jewelry shop and workshop at 147 N. Cora, where he crafted, repaired, and sold jewelry since the 1990s. Others knew him through his years of service as a firefighter, his artistic talents, his independent spirit, and his unmistakable personality. David’s daughter and family invite friends, neighbors, former customers, and all who knew him to join them in celebrating his life.
