Email [email protected] for details British Blues LEGEND Albert Lee graces the Central Coast! THE HISTORY OF ALBERT LEE One of the most respected and renowned guitarists in music history, Albert Lee has worked with The Everly Brothers, Eric Clapton, Emmylou Harris and The Crickets over his long and illustrious career. The British-born country-rock artist started his career during the emerging rock ‘n’ roll scene of sixties London, when he swapped bands with the likes of Jimmy Page and Chris Farlowe. After moving to the U.S. and assimilating himself into the country music scene, Albert quickly garnered a reputation as one of the fastest guitar players in the business. He recorded a number of solo albums, and won a Grammy in 2002 for his contribution on ‘Foggy Mountain Breakdown’. He continues to tour today, and plays his signature Ernie Ball Music Man Guitar. Albert Lee occupies an odd niche in music — British by birth and upbringing, he spent the mid-’60s as a top R&B guitarist, but in the 1970s became one of the top rockabilly guitarists in the world, and no slouch in country music either. In England he’s a been household name, and in Nashville and Los Angeles he’s been one of the most in-demand session guitarists there is; but outside of professional music circles in America, he’s one of those vaguely recognizable names, and occasionally misidentified with his similar-sounding contemporary, ex-Ten Years After guitarist Alvin Lee (with whom he did share a berth once, in Jerry Lee Lewis‘s band on the latter’s London Sessions album) — but where Alvin was a hero of Woodstock and a flashy guitarist, in the manner of British blues extroverts Jimmy Page and Jeff Beck, Albert is much more likely to be found playing in the background, behind the Everly Brothers or alongside Eric Clapton. HAMES Is the electrifying project featuring Singer and Guitarist Nick Hames and his band His love for the blues and classic rock blends effortlessly with modern indie pop and alternative rock. An inspired style that is rapidly becoming a favorite of music fans across all genres. HAMES’ music unites people of all ages to come together and enjoy his remarkable music – his unique sound has been influenced by a variety of artists such as Peter Frampton, Prince, John Mayer, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, BB & Albert King, The 1975, The Police, and many others. HAMES performs familiar pop covers and thrilling originals that blend seamlessly into an unforgettable and high energy presentation. Nick has gathered over 200,000 followers across all his platforms. He is an artist for Fender, Martin, PRS Guitars, Heritage guitars, and many other guitar companies. It would not be unusual to find HAMES in Guitar Center commercials, photos, demo videos, and collaborations online. HAMES have opened for many artists such as Ambrosia, Ally Venable, Ana Popovic, Joanna Connor, Rev. Peyton’s Big Damn Band, and many more. His musical goal is to “inspire someone the way that his heroes inspired him”.
