Nahko returns to North America this year to celebrate the 10th anniversary of HOKA, the landmark album that helped define a movement rooted in healing, empowerment, and connection. In honor of the anniversary, Nahko has re-recorded the entire album — revisiting, reimagining, and breathing new life into the songs while keeping the medicine at the heart of them intact. The re-recordings will be released in conjunction with the tour dates. Audiences can expect an evening of community, storytelling, healing, and musical time travel, featuring renewed versions of fan favorites like “Tus Pies,” “Love Letters to God,” “Make a Change,” “Runner,” and other beloved deep cuts from the album. As the voice behind Nahko and Medicine for the People, Nahko has built a global following through music grounded in resilience, accountability, and collective restoration. Drawing from Native, Filipino, and Puerto Rican heritage, his work channels lived experience into songs that continue to inspire growth, truth, and transformation. Now fully independent, Nahko continues to revisit and reclaim his catalog while forging a new chapter defined by authenticity, renewal, and the enduring belief that music is medicine. Louyah is gaining lots of buzz from a viral Tik Tok video where his friends surprise him by playing “I Used To Care” on the radio. The video has accumulated more than 6.3 million views and has warmed the hearts of many, including our own. The song was written as a response to the emotions that Louyah was feeling from a recent breakup. The chorus reads “I never thought it’d need to be so hard to say I love you. Now you’re gone, my heart, forever calls.” Through hearing these lyrics, it is hard not to sympathize with feelings of a lost love. All in all, Louyah uses his voice and lo-fi pop sound to tell his stories about life and love. Watch below to see Louyah’s live performance of “I Used To Care” and feel his raw emotion through each note.
