Location: Walters Cafe Registration requested How do you express your story and sense of style? Get inspired by our special exhibition, Douriean Fletcher: Jewelry of the Afrofuture, and design and create your own personal beads or charms. All materials will be provided, along with food and drink available for purchase. Get creative, mingle with your fellow crafters, and bring your creations back to incorporate into a wearable piece of artwork at the June edition of Style & Sips!  REGISTER Douriean Fletcher: Jewelry of the Afrofuture is dedicated to jewelry artist Douriean Fletcher, whose work has shaped the cinematic worlds of Marvel Studios’ Black Panther films and Coming 2 America. The exhibition explores the self-taught metalsmith’s jewelry as a powerful narrative tool in art, Black identity, and visual storytelling and spotlights works from the Walters collection that inspired the artist.
