About this event
One of 38 upcoming events at Theatre Denton, and 1,311 across Dallas–Fort Worth.
By Bill Kirkley (Sept. 11, 12, 13) at the Theatre Denton Annex. Directed by Bill Kirkley When Hitchcock Met Addams is a darkly whimsical comedy that imagines an unlikely—and hilarious—encounter between two of pop culture’s most iconic figures: Alfred Hitchcock, the master of suspense, and Charles Addams, the creator of the delightfully macabre Addams Family. Set on a Sunday in late 1963, the play blends sharp wit, gothic humor, and a touch of heart, examining an unexamined friendship and paying tribute to both creators’ legacies. The dialogue crackles with intelligence, satire, and unexpected poignancy, offering audiences a fresh theatrical experience full of nostalgia and originality. This is a special presentation, a fundraiser for the theatre, and the premiere performance. The show is an extended one-act with two characters. ONLY 3 performances, limited seating and a chance to support a new play.
