Carefree Art Night: Zac Kothrade

Flagstaff silversmith Zac Kothrade works in argentium silver, a special alloy that, compared to sterling, has a lower copper content and a touch of germanium. This makes his work a little bit brighter and a little bit whiter, as well as having a slower tarnish rate. Zac’s work is classic, clean, and contemporary, primarily silver with gold accents. Most importantly, it’s imminently wearable and extremely comfortable, great for dressing up and dressing down. Come meet the artist and see why he chooses argentium over sterling—and why you might want to do the same!
