James was born in San Diego & grew up in the Pacific Northwest writing songs to cope with the chaos in the world. He found that playing music brought peace & is now writing to keep the peace. Growing up in church with his dad being a pastor & being on the worship team is where he started learning how to play & write. Then developing a love for punk, metal, hip hop & rock music he started up a few bands in his teens. After years of writing, recording & performing with bands, the acoustic guitar started to take up most of his time. So pull up a chair, and enjoy a glass of wine and an evening of live music with James Berkley!
