About this event
One of 43 upcoming events at Tivoli Free Library, and 2,810 across the Hudson Valley.
We are excited to share the (re)launch of our Book Club at the Library! We're embracing a theme centered around shorter literature, typically focusing on books under 250 pages. However, let's not mistake brevity for simplicity; these works often offer profound themes, intricate ideas, and beautifully crafted prose. Join us for an enriching exploration of literature that is both concise and impactful! Some of the future choices are: 8/20 "Foster" by Claire Keegan9/17 "Assembly" by Natasha Brown - POSTPONED We will be discussing both "Assembly" and "A Woman of no Importance" on 10/15. 10/15 "A Woman of No Importance: The Untold Story of the American Spy Who Helped Win World War II" by Sonia PurnellWe also encourage attendees to bring their own book recommendations. These engaging discussions often lead to exciting recommendations for other books, movies, and music, so you’re sure to leave with new titles to add to your reading list!If there’s enough interest in different genres, we may even explore the possibility of forming specialized Book Clubs in the future. We hope to see you there!
