2nd Friday: PRIDE

Every second Friday of the month through October, the Torpedo Factory Art Center is open late! June will celebrate Pride with music and a variety of crafting opportunities. All activities are free to the public. Safe Space NOVA | Grand Hall | 7-10 pm Stop by Safe Space NOVA’s table to learn more about their upcoming programming, including the 2026 Pride Prom hosted at Torpedo Factory Art Center. Music by Dumi Right and DJ RBI | Grand Hall | 7-10 pm Collaborative Comic Demo | 7-8 pm in the Grand Hall | 8-9 pm in Studio 331 TFAC artist Sierra Barnes will lead participants in a collaborative comic panel with characters of their imagination in this interactive demonstration. Participants will guide the direction of the creation while learning about the process of making a comic page. Make Your Own Pride Cards and Painted Rocks | Grand Hall | 7-9:30 pm Join TFAC artist Jennifer Brewerstone in creating watercolored greeting cards and painting small trinket rocks in celebration of Pride. 3D Printer Pride Demo | Grand Hall | 7-9:30 pm Printmaking Demo | Grand Hall | 7- 10 pm TFAC artist Samantha Shelton will demonstrate linocut block printing with an etching press and have various printed works available for purchase. Bandana Decorating | Grand Hall | 7-10 pm Using fabric markers, decorate and take home a TFAC bandana!
