Author Signing: Marnie O. Mamminga & Mary C. Parks Saturday, November 1st, 11am-1pm: Lifelong Fox Valley residents, Marnie O. Mamminga, an award-winning author, and Mary C. Parks, a nationally honored art educator, have completed their Finding Wisdom in Nature series for children with the recent release of A Wolf Song in Me and Songs of the Lake. Their award-winning first book, The Woodpecker’s Song, completes their Song Trilogy which focuses on themes of dreaming big, facing fear, and listening to nature. Parks’ colorful torn paper collage illustrations bring delightful whimsy to all three books.
