@ Register Here $55 Non-Member / $44 Member Class Capacity 12 We’ll walk through the garden looking for plants to inspire. Then sketch and photograph an aloe, agave, or cactus to inspire a painting. In the classroom, step-by-step, I’ll guide you through the process of drawing with pencil and pen. Then we’ll add color with expressive watercolor techniques to create a unique and beautiful desert image. The Drawing Studio will provide the art materials for this class. instructor Laura Milkins Laura Milkins is an interdisciplinary artist whose work explores vulnerability, intimacy, and cultural norms, using a variety of media. Through storytelling, her work examines the connection between technology, the environment, and the body in Western culture. Laura has been teaching art in Tucson since 2006 and enjoys sharing her passion and knowledge in creating meaningful artwork. Refund & Cancellation Policy No refund will be issued less than 15 days prior to any Community Class. A $10 cancellation fee will be applied to all refunds. No refunds will be issued for special events. We reserve the right to cancel Community Classes due to insufficient registration, garden closure, or inclement weather, in which case, participants will receive a full refund.
