Night Trains 2026 – 2027 Season

Night Trains® season is a special Holidays tradition at the Twin City Model Railroad Museum. Night Trains runs from October 2026 through February 2027 with additional bonus nights noted below. What is Night Trains? The museum’s collection of model trains of all scales and toy trains of yesteryear come alive throughout the Museum (Sorry, no real trains to board and ride on!). Night Trains Season magic begins as the lights are turned down and the buildings and street lights glow warmly, setting the scene for specially lighted models of operating vintage passenger trains. The make believe towns are buried in snow and holiday decorations are set up all over the towns. Uniquely decorated trains will run on the layouts and special holiday-only layouts will also be on display. Hours and Admission Every Saturday from November 7th, 2026 to February 27th, 2027. The event runs from 3:00pm to 7pm, tickets will be sold for 2 hour time blocks. $15 per guest, children 4 and under are free. October The season kicks off with Spooky Trains! See event details here! November We are slowly switching from Halloween trains to winter decorations and Christmas decorations. Bonus Night Trains on Black Friday, November 27th from 3-7! December Santa dates Dec. 12th and 19th! Get a picture with Santa and let him know what’s on your list! Bonus Night Trains events on the Monday and Friday of the weeks during, and after Christmas. (Dec. 18th, 21st, & 28th) January Bonus Night Trains event on New Years Day, January 1st Christmas decorations will start coming down on January 24th but we will maintain winter decorations through February.
