Andrew Richards

Andrew Richards is a Burlington, Vermont-based singer-songwriter and acoustic musician whose music blends the intimacy of traditional folk with the warmth and improvisational spirit of jazz. A baritone vocalist and guitarist, Andrew brings a soulful, understated presence to every performance, pairing thoughtful songwriting with a sound rooted in classic American music. After spending four years performing and recording in New York City, Andrew returned to his native Vermont and has become a fixture of the New England music scene. His solo performances move comfortably between intimate listening rooms, bars, breweries, and festivals, with a repertoire that balances original songs and carefully chosen covers. Whether performing for a quiet room or a lively crowd, Andrew’s music is centered on strong storytelling, expressive vocals, and the simple connection between a musician and an audience.
