SUITABLE FOR ADULTS AND TEENS AGES 15-17 Experience Tyler by moonlight as day fades into night. Step into the forest to explore woodlands, streams, and open areas in a whole new light. Look for fireflies flickering in the darkness, listen for nighttime sounds, and notice shifting shadows and the scents of evening. Along the way, your guides will point out features of special interest and seasonal highlights. Gates open at 7:15 pm Group leaves from the Visitor Center at 7:35 pm — please arrive on time Check in with the staff person at the Visitor Center Patio Restrooms available at the beginning and end of the hike What to expect: Experienced guides Moderately paced, 3+ mile hike on rocky, uneven terrain Changes in walking surfaces, including pavement, grass, gravel, and rocky trails Changes in grade, including steep hills Possible stream crossings Darkness Time to observe the moon (bring binoculars) Not suitable for those with limited mobility What to wear & carry: Dress in layers for the weather Hiking boots with good tread Handheld flashlight (cell phone flashlights are not sufficient) Water and snacks Hiking poles (optional) PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED.
