 Nature at Night – Experience Tyler Arboretum after hours through a series of family-friendly summer evenings filled with wildlife encounters, outdoor adventures, guided experiences, and memorable moments in nature after dark. ______ Watch the landscape come alive with the glow of fireflies on a warm summer evening at Tyler Arboretum. Learn about the fascinating life cycle of these beloved nighttime insects and discover simple ways to make your yard more welcoming to fireflies and other wildlife. Then, as dusk settles in, head outside for a guided walk to experience the magic of fireflies flickering across the meadows and gardens (weather permitting). _____ About your presenter: Woody is an environmentalist who loves exploring the natural world. He is a Pennsylvania Master Naturalist, a Xerces Society Ambassador, and serves on the Media Borough Environmental Advisory Council. He enjoys sharing the wonders of nature with Arboretum visitors. _____ FOR ADULTS AND CHILDREN OF ALL AGES PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED.  Children must be accompanied by an adult. What to expect: Gates open at 7:45 pm Check in at the Visitor Center patio upon arrival 30-minute presentation in the Barn Loft, followed by a guided firefly walk A nighttime experience in natural, low-light conditions Walking surfaces include pavement, grass, and gravel Restrooms available What to wear & carry: Closed-toe shoes with good tread Flashlight Bug spray (please apply before arrival) Pricing: MEMBERS (sign in for your 15% discount!): Adult: $21.25 each; Child (ages 3-17): $17 each; Child (2 and under): Free and no need to register NON-MEMBERS: Adult: $25 each; Child (ages 3-17): $20 each; Child (2 and under): Free and no need to register ACCESS/EBT HOLDERS (with ID): $12.50 each.
