Spring Workshop: Herbal Infusions

FOR ADULTS AND TEENS AGES 15-17 Treat yourself or a loved one to a relaxing afternoon making your own herbal creations. Take home delicious syrups, natural lip balms, and fragrant oils you infuse with plants you might already grow at home. About your instructor: Tyler Arboretum Gardener Elisa Ciarrocchi brings her wealth of experience to this unique workshop! With an eye for design and a stylist background, she brings an artist’s innovation to everything she does. That includes her work bartending, which allows her to experiment with adding the plants growing in the garden as fun infusions for cocktails. Those experiments inspire the creativity for other infusion projects, including herb-infused vinegar, olive oil, simple syrups, and honey. What to expect:   Rain or shine Arrive early to check in at the Visitor Center and enjoy the 5-minute walk to the Edible Garden Classroom.  Light fare and beverages will be provided (we will do our best to accommodate food allergies/restrictions; please list any during registration).  What to bring: Dress for the weather.  PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED MEMBERS (sign in for your discount!): $29.75 per person NON-MEMBERS: $35 per person GUEST PASS HOLDERS (for non-members only): $29.75 per person.
