Sunday Tour: 250th History Tour

FOR ADULTS AND TEENS AGES 12-17 On this guided tour, you’ll visit historic structures and discover how the Minshall, Painter, and Tyler families used the land and left a lasting legacy – including a remarkable collection of trees planted by the Painter brothers. Travel over 260 years of history and uncover how Tyler’s past continues to shape its present. What to expect: Canceled 48 hours in advance if inclement weather, all registrants will be contacted Max one-mile hike on mostly even ground, some uphill Check in at the Visitor Center, where you’ll meet your guide What to bring: Dress for the weather Shoes suitable for walking Pricing: FREE for members; FREE with admission for non-members PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED MEMBERS (sign in for your discount!): FREE NON-MEMBERS: $18 per adult; $15 per senior (65 and over);$10 per teen, ages 12-17. The fee includes admission, so feel free to stay for the day after the program! Teens must be accompanied by a registered adult. GUEST PASS HOLDERS: (for non-members only): FREE.
