Peebles Island Open House

We are excited to officially announce Open House at Peebles Island from 9am-3pm each day on October 15, 16, and 17! Always wondered what the NYS Division for Historic Preservation (DHP) does inside the buildings on Peebles Island State Park? Well, now is your chance to find out! This first Open House in 15 years will include behind-the-scenes tours, exhibits, demonstrations, and presentations that highlight the work DHP does to promote and protect the history of New York State through state historic sites and in communities across the state. Highlights include: access to object conservation labs, hands-on activities, special talks, guided tours of the historic factory complex, the Revisit the Revolution traveling exhibition, and much more. Parking is available but may become limited. If you need reasonable accommodation for this event, please contact our ADA Coordinator, Owen Gilbo, at (518) 402-2648 or [email protected]. This event is free and open to the public. No registration necessary. This three-day event will be held October 15, October 16, and October 17, from 9am-3pm each day.
