Our expert instructors bring a warm, engaging approach to teaching, and all classes take place in the friendly, community-centered environment of the Irish Center. The classes are supported in part by a generous donation from the Theresa Joyce Memorial Fund through the San Francisco Cooley Keegan Branch of Comhaltas Ceoiltóirí Éireann and the 2026 UICC Annual Appeal Fund. First Class is Saturday September 26th, 2026 10 classes this Fall starting Saturday September 26th : September 26th October 3rd October 10th October 17th October 24th October 31st November 7th November 14th November 21st no Class November 28th Dec 5th All Classes take place at the United Irish Cultural Center, San Francisco Location: 2700-45th Ave, San Francisco, CA 94116 Pop-Up Gaeltacht For those who want informal, real-world practice alongside structured learning, we will have Pop-Up Gaeltacht session at 3pm in the Irish Center after the formal classes. Mary Connolly- An Múinteoir (Teacher) Mary has a degree in Celtic Studies from Queen’s University, Belfast and has participated in classes at the UICC for about 10 years. Mary regularly attends the pop-up Gaeltacht sessions at the Irish Center and uses Irish whenever and wherever she can.
