Connect | Salt Lake City

Connect is a dynamic community-based art program that spans the entire state of Utah. This program is designed to celebrate and nurture the artistic spirit of all visual artists. From photographers to painters to sculptors, Connect offers a platform where individuals of all backgrounds and skill levels can showcase their creativity. Connect is open to everyone, regardless of age, experience, or artistic background. Whether you’re an emerging artist or someone who’s never picked up a paintbrush before, you’re welcome to participate. We encourage non-artists to attend as well to enjoy local art and vote for their favorite pieces. How it Works Each Connect location functions a little differently, but generally you can expect networking, professional development, a chance to critique and vote on others’ artwork. Artists are encouraged to bring up to two pieces of artwork per event. Artwork can be any medium. Show up on time so you can sign in and set up before the activities begin. Invite your family and friends. You don’t need to bring art to participate. Connect Finals Join us at the 2025 Connect Finals at Urban Arts Gallery, an exciting art competition celebrating the creative talents of this year’s Connect participants while raising funds for the 2026 program. Winning artists will showcase one standout piece in hopes of claiming cash prizes, offering an opportunity for artists to shine and art lovers to connect and engage.
