Wines scheduled to appear: 2023 Emmolo Sauvignon Blanc Region: California (North Coast) Grapes: 100% Sauvignon Blanc Notes: “Guided by the idea that ‘less is more’, this wine is dry and fresh, with crisp fruit flavors and bright minerality. Some of our grapes come from family vineyards in Napa Valley, with the majority coming from Suisun Valley, a “hidden gem” wine region only a short drive from Napa. Suisun shares a similar maritime climate and produces exceptional fruit. Our farming practices enable us to create a wine that is not overly ripe – while also not herbaceous – featuring low alcohol and bright acidity.”   2024 Bonanza Lot 1 Chardonnay Region: California Grapes: 100% Chardonnay Notes: “Charlie Sr.’s namesake and grandson continues the family tradition with the introduction of Bonanza Chardonnay Lot 1. Not buttery or oak-driven, the wine bounces out of the glass in a pure expression of the variety. Light melon with vibrant acidity.”   2023 Caymus-Suisin Walking Fool – Red Blend Region: California (Suisin Valley) Grapes: Zinfandel and Petit Syrah Notes: “This red wine blend is produced from Suisun Valley, a remarkable AVA that has become the Wagner family’s second home. A 30-minute drive from Napa, Suisun has ideal soils and climate for a variety of grapes. The Walking Fool is named after a long-ago relative who was often seen traveling by foot – thus earning this affectionate moniker. Featuring Zinfandel and Petite Sirah, this wine is smooth and lively, with juicy raspberry, notes of espresso and softly fine tannins.”   2023 Bonanza Vinekeeper Lot 1 – Cabernet Sauvignon Region: California (Napa Valley) Grapes: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon Notes: “We started making Bonanza Cabernet Sauvignon in 2019 and have been on a path of discovery ever since, as we explore vineyard sites off the beaten track that produce delicious Cabernet Sauvignon throughout California. The Vinekeeper will showcase different areas over time – this debut comes from Napa Valley, renowned for its unique ability to produce exciting wine. Beautifully balanced – rich, fruit-driven, round and ripe.”   2023 Caymus Cabernet Sauvignon – Napa Valley Region: California (Napa Valley) Grapes: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon Notes: “A crowd-pleaser, with boysenberry and acai berry fruit flavors streaming through, while a silky but persistent structure carries this through the chocolate-framed finish. Caressing in feel, with a subtle savory echo at the very end.
