Experiences provided by: Architecture Sarasota: Walk around The Bay to understand the rehabilitation efforts underway and the associated environmental benefits. Longboat Key Turtle Watch: Learn about the fascinating sea turtle population that call Sarasota home and how you can protect them. Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium: Discover how scientists restore coral reefs — then try planting coral yourself like a real Mote scientist. Sarasota Bay Estuary Program: Create a beautiful “sun painting” using cutouts of bay creatures and plants on solar paper. Sarasota Paradise: Mix, mingle and play with members of Sarasota’s first professional soccer team. Science and Environmental Council: Find out how fertilizer (incl. doggie doo) impacts the environment in surprising and eye-opening ways. Stocking Savvy: Learn how fish, plants, and smart water management work together to create healthy ponds, wetlands, and thriving habitats.
