August- The Tranky Doo (Week Three)

Join us to learn The Tranky Doo—a joyful jazz line dance with deep roots in the swing dance tradition with your teachers Lisa and Celia. Built from rhythmic movement, expressive shapes, and shared energy, this routine is less about perfection and more about finding the groove together. We’ll learn the choreography piece by piece and bring it to life with musicality, personality, and plenty of fun. No partner necessary. Your class fee includes free admission to our Practice Dance that starts at 8pm right after class! Let’s practice those new moves! This is a series class. Please plan to come the whole month! Please arrive 15 minutes early to ensure time for parking and shoe changing. Please bring clean shoes that won’t track in grit or leave black heel marks. Parking is limited; plan to park on nearby streets and walk to the North Star Hall at 20 Crowley Street.
