Poetry in the Parklet – FINAL EVENT

Poetry in the Parklet An outdoor community gathering where poets and writers come together to read, write, and share. Each event features a local poet who reads their own work and leads participants through a guided free-writing session using original prompts. The event closes with a community open mic, capped off by a final reading from the featured poet. The series also includes a poetry contest open to the community — winners receive a gift certificate to the Muse Writers Center, read their poems at the September Poetry in the Parklet event, and have their work displayed in the ViBe Parklet on 18th Street for a full year, beginning October 2026.
