Ubunto Rising

Ubuntu Rising in partnership with Teens with a Purpose Ubuntu Rising is a culturally grounded wellness and healing series inspired by the African philosophy Ubuntu — “I am because we are.” The series provides restorative, arts-based, and mindfulness experiences that support emotional wellness, reduce stress, and strengthen community connection. Each gathering offers a welcoming space for the community to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with themselves and others. Ubuntu Rising blends movement, sound, poetry, and music to foster belonging, cultural appreciation, and collective care. Each monthly event takes place in ViBe Park located at 1810 Cypress Avenue in the ViBe Creative District. Dates: June 28 4-7pm July 26 4-7pm August 30 4-7pm September 27 4-7pm Each 3-hour experience may include: ● Gentle yoga or somatic movement ● Reiki or energy healing ● Sound bath meditation ● Spoken word poetry ● Live music or vocal performance ● Guided reflection and community dialogue ● Closing circle NO RSVP NEEDED – Just show up!
