Friday, October 9 10:00 AM–6:00 PM Saturday, October 10 10:00 AM–5:00 PM Sunday, October 11 10:00 AM–4:00 PM ViBe Muralists Oleksandra “Sasha” Arkhangelska originally is from Kharkiv, Ukraine where she graduated from an Art College and Art Academy with degrees in Art Instruction & Monumental Painting. While residing in Toronto, Canada for a few years, Oleksandra furthered her education by studying Business and Hospitality Operations, enhancing her professional skills and knowledge in these fields. Since moving to Hampton Roads in 2015, Oleksandra has been an active member of the Tidewater Ukrainian Community and currently holds the position of Director at the Tidewater Ukrainian School. She is also the Senior Store Manager at Muse Paintbar, where she teaches art classes and manages daily operations. With a deep passion for art and community, Oleksandra is committed to making a positive difference through her professional and personal contributions, guided by the belief that everyday efforts can create a better world. Born and raised in Virginia Beach, Tamia Adkins is a multidisciplinary artist who has been bringing her colorful imagination to life since 2018. As the founder of Paints By Tamia LLC, she creates murals, custom artwork, face painting experiences, and fun, interactive creative events throughout the 757. From painting walls to painting faces, Tamia loves creating art that brings people together and makes them smile. Her work is rooted in color, community, and the belief that everyone should have an opportunity to experience the joy of creating. Chris Green Paints Have you ever felt rain hit your face, stood barefoot in the grass, or sat somewhere in nature long enough to finally feel still? That feeling of peace is where Chris Green’s art begins. A Norfolk-based painter, muralist, teaching artist, and creator, Chris creates work that brings us back to our connection with nature and, through nature, our connection with each other. His paintings remind us that we aren’t so different from the plants growing around us. We need light. We need water. We need love. We need people who pour into us, and we need to pour into each other. We are all part of the same garden, and when we nurture one another, we all have the opportunity to bloom. Screenshot A ViBe Mural Festival featured artist in 2025, Sarah Richards is a student at Eastern Virginia Medical School working on a master’s in Counseling and Art Therapy. She previously spent a summer interning with the ViBe Creative District at the Virginia Beach Art Center, Creative Well Arts Foundation and ViBe nonprofit. In her personal work, Sarah enjoys creating with bright, vibrant colors while depicting themes of girlhood, abstract florals, and her experience with scoliosis. CELEBRATING 70 YEARS OF ART AND ARTISTS October 9–11, 2026 On the Virginia Beach Boardwalk from 23rd–33rd Streets The Virginia MOCA Boardwalk Art Show presented by Atlantic Union Bank is a renowned outdoor art show held annually along the Virginia Beach boardwalk. As one of the longest-running art shows on the East Coast, it celebrates creativity by featuring exceptional works from artists across the country. The show has deep roots in the community, as Virginia MOCA itself grew out of this cherished event. What began as a local art show in 1952 has since evolved into the contemporary art museum known today, reflecting its dedication to inspiring and connecting through art.
