La Terra Tuscany • Phoenix • 5:00 to 6:00 PM

A Journey Through Chianti Classico Tuscany is a region defined by place, tradition, and Sangiovese, and Chianti Classico sits at the heart of that story. Its rolling hills, varied elevations, and distinctive soils give Sangiovese an incredible range of expressions, from bright and energetic to structured, savory, and age-worthy. Please join Giuseppe Sorgentone of Poggio Torselli as he introduces La Terra Tuscany, a new project showcasing Sangiovese and the wines of Chianti Classico. Through the lineup, we’ll explore the character of the region and how vineyard site, elevation, soils, and winemaking shape the wines in the glass. Along the way, we’ll take a closer look at what makes Chianti Classico distinct and why Sangiovese remains one of Italy’s most expressive and compelling varieties. Please join Giuseppe for a guided exploration of La Terra Tuscany, showcasing Sangiovese and the distinctive wines of Chianti Classico.
