Event Details Night at the Museum: An Adults-Only Overnight Adventure Ever wondered what happens at the museum after the doors close? Join the Virginia Association of Museums (VAM) and the Virginia Museum of Natural History (VMNH) for a one-of-a-kind Night at the Museum experience in Martinsville, VA! This special adults-only (18+) event invites you to experience the museum in an entirely new way. Spend the evening surrounded by prehistoric giants, enjoy dinner in the Hall of Dinosaurs, and go behind the scenes with special tours led by VMNH curators and executive leadership. As the evening continues, test your knowledge with trivia, relax with a movie, and enjoy plenty of opportunities to connect with fellow museum professionals and friends. And when the museum gets quiet for the night, the adventure isn't over! Bring your sleeping bag and spend the night inside the museum for an unforgettable experience among the exhibits. Your evening includes: Dinner in the Hall of Dinosaurs Curator and Executive Director-led tours Behind-the-scenes museum experiences Trivia, movies, and evening activities An overnight stay inside the Virginia Museum of Natural History Light Breakfast the next morning Whether you're looking for a unique VAM experience, a chance to connect with colleagues, or simply an excuse to say you slept in a museum, this is one night you won't want to miss!
