What happens when you mix pre-1935 cars with a need for speed? A hill climb! In coordination with Ford A Speed Technology Inc., (FAST), we’re hosting the first annual Virginia City Hill Climb on D Street. This storied ode to the past is an event that was done in the 1930s where cars were timed, racing up a hill. All participating cars are pre-1935 and powered by either a Model T engine (1908-1927), a model A engine (1927-31) or a model B engine (1932-34). The fastest care will be crowned ‘King of the Hill.’ This free to attend event will also feature: 20 historic cars Participants racing one at a time up a hill for 1/10 of a mile A climb up D street – a 3% grade With historic cars and historic Virginia City, what else could you need?
