The priceless Shamrock of Killarney has been stolen… and there’s been a murder aboard the historic train! Was it the charming con artist? The jealous rival? The mysterious stranger in first class? Engage with a colorful cast of characters, each with their own motives and secrets, as you enjoy delicious appetizers and Irish themed libations. Other treats will be served as passengers work to figure out the identity of the Villain. Prizes will be awarded for the best and worst guesses. Travel in comfort on one of the Virginia & Truckee Railroad’s authentic turn-of-the-century passenger cars as you ride though the Comstock mining district to Gold Hill. The Fun Time Theater Company will present the clues and the suspects. As you work to solve the mystery, you will be served a choice of Irish themed beer, white wine or soft drinks and tasty snacks. Plan to be in Virginia City early for the Rocky Mountain Oyster Fry and Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade before heading down to the 1870 Virginia City Depot for your departure.
