About this event

The Virginia Holocaust Museum cordially invites you to our 2026 Yom HaShoah commemoration. Every year, we pause to remember and honor the Six Million Jews who perished in the Holocaust. Highlights this year include a keynote address by Miriam Malnik-Ezagui. Miriam Malnik-Ezagui is a widely followed Orthodox Jewish digital educator, labor-and-delivery nurse, and mother whose social media platform offers an authentic window into modern Jewish life. Through her videos, she shares what it means to live as an Orthodox Jewish woman today — from family and faith to daily traditions — while also carrying forward the powerful legacy of her Holocaust-survivor grandparents. As a third-generation descendant of survivors, Miriam regularly speaks about her grandmother’s experiences during the Holocaust and how that history continues to shape her own life and identity. As a social media influencer, Malnik-Ezagui has a significant following. Her educational and heartfelt videos accrue over three billion annual video views from over 350 million consumers globally.
