Coyote Country Steak Cookoff at the Lake Tahoe Community College

@ 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm, Saturday, June 6, 2026, The 2nd Annual Coyote Country Steak Cookoff at the Lake Tahoe Community College. Lake Tahoe Community College will host the 2nd Coyote Country Steak Cookoff — a BBQ competition, campus cookout, and student engagement experience all in one. The event brings together culinary students, competing teams from several states, local chefs, hospitality professionals, and the community for a day of food, friendship, and networking. Plus, take part in the Open Career Exchange: Walk up, connect with local businesses, and explore real career opportunities. Food & Beverage Vendors: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM Enjoy a variety of food and drinks from participating vendors throughout the day. The event is open to students, staff, and community members. Everyone is welcome.  Cost to Attend: $25 per ticket, includes 4 food coupons. Your ticket includes 4 food coupons. Vendors at the event accept coupons only (no cash). Each coupon can be redeemed for one food item or beverage, such as a serving of tacos, a slice of pizza, or a drink.
