@ 2026 Rose to Toads – Sunday, September 13th This year’s ride takes place on Sunday, September 13, 2026(not Labor Day weekend!) and marks the 15th anniversary of Rose to Toads. To celebrate this milestone, riders can look forward to themed aid stations along the route and a festive finish line celebration as we honor one of Tahoe’s most iconic mountain bike traditions. On top of that, Tahoe City-based artist Bryn Merrell will be creating an exclusive Rose to Toads t-shirt design to honor the ride’s special anniversary. You can also contact us at [email protected] if you have any further questions. 2026 ride route update This year’s ride will feature an updated route, which has been approved to allow 1-day access for bikes on the Tahoe Rim Trail to avoid the Spooner Lake State Park backcountry trail closures. Check out the maps below for details about the updated route and note that bikes will only be permitted on the Tahoe Rim Trail from Laxalt Junction to Spooner Lake State Park for the day of the event (Sunday, September 13, 2026).
