@ The popular speaker series TEDx South Lake Tahoe returns to Lake Tahoe Community College (LTCC) bringing together local, national, and international guest speakers who are committed to sharing their insightful and inspiring ideas with audiences in engaging and entertaining ways. TEDx comes to LTCC’s Duke Theatre on Saturday, October 3, 2026 from 5 to 9 pm. Tickets are available for sale online at tedxsouthlaketahoe.com. The evening will also include light refreshments and live music. This year’s theme, Beneath the Surface, is where untold stories, hidden truths, and unexpected connections live. It’s the space between what we think we know and what’s really driving change within ourselves, our communities, and our world. Angie Shy – speaker and storyteller on mental health as a civic responsibility Corey Rich – award-winning adventure photographer and director Natasha Lukasiewich – nurse, health care executive and creator of Gritsilience Maxwell Brodie – CEO of Rain, which builds autonomous aircraft for wildfire response Kimberly Templeton – on the Painted Rock movement and the power of small kindnesses Alex Ramon – magician with more than 25 years of studying how to connect with an audience Francesca Ciucci – global speaker and writer, on why the life everyone is chasing may be what keeps us stuck Each ticket includes appetizers, drinks, and live entertainment at intermission.
