About the Band The United States Air Force Band of the Golden West is the Air Force’s official musical ambassador for the western United States. Stationed at Travis Air Force Base in California, the band represents the professionalism, excellence, and dedication of the men and women serving in the United States Air Force. One of its featured performing groups, Golden West Brass, is a dynamic brass ensemble known for delivering high-energy performances that blend military tradition with contemporary entertainment.
