Alaska Family Services is currently offering Circles of Security Parenting class. This is an 8-part cohort series that is recommended for parents with infants, toddlers and children in the household up to 6 years old. COURSE: Circles of Security Parenting CHILDREN AGE RANGE: infants and children 0 to 6 years old. FOSTER PARENT? • Participation in this class may count towards your training requirements. LEARNING OBJECTIVES: • Understand your child’s emotional world by learning to read their social and emotional ques • Support your child’s ability to successfully manage their emotions • Enhance the development of your child’s self-esteem and healthy attachment • Honor your innate wisdom and desire for your child to be secure • Recognize and manage your own triggers.
