9th Annual Black Magic Ball — Halloween at VooDoo Hut

Saturday, October 31 — the 9th Black Magic Ball. Doors at 11am, party until 2am. RSVP is free: tap Get Tickets, pick “Free entry”, done. Bringing a group? Pick a Stage Room or Main Room table at the same checkout and it’s yours for the night (4+ and 6+ options). Tables are first come, first served — this is the only place to reserve one. The night builds from 8, when DJ Cid Ray takes the booth. The grand costume contest is the peak of it, at 12:45am: five minutes on the floor, the crowd picks the winner on the Scream-O-Meter, $1,200 cash with $1,000 to first, then straight back to the party. Bartenders crown their own picks all night (best group, best couple, best masquerade), so a good costume pays off even if you can’t stay late. Wear a costume and there’s no cover. DJ Cid Ray 8–11pm, DJ Bruce Waine 11pm–2am. Laser show, the LED wall, the hookah lounge, and the kitchen stays open late. VooDoo Hut, 511 Bradford Ave, Kemah. Strictly 21+.
