Books on Tap- Book Club at Waltz On the 1st Wednesday of each month we'll be discussing a book in full in a small group setting! This week's Book is: Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden Memoirs of a Geisha is a 1997 historical fiction novel by American author Arthur Golden, narrated by Nitta Sayuri, a celebrated geisha in Kyoto, Japan, who recounts her life from a poor fishing village to becoming a top entertainer before, during, and after World War II. The story details her transformation from a young girl sold into servitude to a master of traditional Japanese arts, navigating a world of strict customs, rivalry, and romance, all while dealing with the upheaval of war. 1st Wednesday of every month from 7-8:30pm
