Queer Fiction Book Club

Join the Queer Fiction Book Club for a discussion of Patricia Highsmith's 1952 novel The Price of Salt! We'll be reading this ahead of the Queer Cinema Club's screening of the 2015 film adaptation, Carol. (And for those who read The Price of Salt with us in February, feel free to stop by and jog your memory before the screening). Therese, a young woman working as a seasonal hire at a department store, is drawn in by a sophisticated woman named Carol who stops in to buy a gift for her daughter. The two fall in love and begin a journey across the country while Carol works through a contentious divorce.
