Updated: The Macpheadris Murals at Warner House

In this upcoming talk, Dave will again present the amazing stories of why Captain Macpheadris had the five murals painted -- to include a unifying theme. This talk will also include findings from recent research at the New Netherland Research Center in Albany, NY. In particular, he will add much more to the story of Peter Schuyler and the Mohawk Chiefs -- that will answer the very vexing questions of why was it so important that four Mohawk Chiefs meet with Queen Anne, and why were they so well-entertained in London after this meeting. And, what happened to the Mohawk Chiefs on their return? Tickets: $10 for non-members, free for members. Sign up for a membership and come to all talks for free! Please note the time shift for these talks. Doors open & soup is served 30 minutes before the start of the talk in the Carriage House (accessible via Chapel St.) Reservations recommended as we have limited seating.
