SEPTEMBER 19: “Women & Bumblebees: Minnesota Magical Realism” In conjunction with Bemidji’s Monarch Festival, join local author Maueen Gibbon for a fiction reading and conversation about discovering Minnesota’s unique magical realism. Gibbon’s photography will also be on display. Free and open to the public. No registration required. Begins at 6:30 on Saturday, September 19 in Watermark Art Center’s Education Studio. She also wrote a phenology column for the Park Rapids Enterprise for years. She lives in Bemidji.
