As the Waukegan Park District plans for a potential park development, we want to hear from you! Join us for the Brookside Property Development Public Input Meeting on Wednesday, July 29, 2026 from 4pm to 6pm at the new property, 2701 Brookside Avenue (Southwest corner of Brookside Avenue and N. Evergreen Avenue) in Waukegan. The public is invited to attend and share ideas about the future of the property with the Waukegan Park District Board of Commissioners and staff. It is anticipated the property will be improved in the next few years and the meeting is to discuss how this property can be improved. The meeting is at the property, and you can stay for any length of time. For more information, please contact Jonathan “JT” Taube, Manager of Planning Services at (847)360-4755 or jtaube@waukeganparks.org.
