Nature Discovery Day

The Waukegan Park District is hosting Nature Discovery Day on Saturday, July 11, 2026 from 10am to 12pm at Nature’s Classroom, located at 2255 York House Road. This free event is for everyone and preregistration is not required. Discover and connect with the natural world! Families will be able to engage with fun nature activities from making a nature collage with natural elements you find around the park or by painting your own garden stones. This day is dedicated to exploring, appreciating, and celebrating the beauty and wonder of nature. Whether you’re a seasoned nature lover or just looking to spend some time outdoors, this event offers something for everyone.
