About this event
One of 36 upcoming events at Waukegan Park District.
The Waukegan Park District is partnering with Incredible Bats to host Wildlife Wonders Show on Friday, November 13, 2026 from 6pm to 7pm at the Belvidere Recreation Center, located at 412 S. Lewis Avenue. This program is family-friendly and is free. Preregistration is required. Registration closes on Wednesday, November 11, 2026. This program will feature live exotic animals! Go across five continents exploring the amazing abilities of each creature, learning how their physical characteristics give them the ability to thrive in their unique habitats. Whether its the rainforests of the Amazon, the harsh outback of Australia, the heat of the deserts in North Africa, or an urban backyard in North America, each animal must possess certain physical attributes to survive! After a brief overview of each animal, the audience will get an opportunity to pet, hold or view all of the animals up close. Meet fruit bats, armadillo, fennec fox, possums, hedgehog, rabbit, dormice, parrot, bearded dragon, and box turtle! For more information, contact Jonathan at [email protected] or 847-360-4708.
