Walk-up registration is open from 5:30 p.m. Get ready to heat up your First Fridays with a vibrant celebration of Latin dance and culture right in the heart of Downtown West Palm Beach! Qué Bacano is now bringing TWO FREE dance classes each month. From sizzling salsa to smooth merengue and sultry bachata, discover new moves throughout the season and dance the night away with live music by La Vie! Discover the passion of Latin dance with our talented instructor, Dance With Julie. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned dancer, Julie’s engaging workshops will guide you through two engaging, step-by-step classes each evening, with plenty of time between lessons to practice, mingle, and let the music move you. 5:30–6:30 p.m. | Check In & Catch the Rhythm Registration opens, and La Vie kicks off the evening with live music. Hit the dance floor and warm up your moves! 6:30–7 p.m. | Dance Class #1 Dance Lesson by Dance With Julie 7–8 p.m. | Open Dancing Try out your new moves and dance to live music by La Vie. 8–8:30 p.m. | Dance Class #2 Keep the momentum going with another lesson from Dance With Julie. 8:30–9:30 p.m. | Dance the Night Away Put it all together during a final hour of open dancing! Originally from New York, Julissa Hernandez (Dance With Julie) is a two-time World Salsa Summit Champion who found her love for dance right at home, surrounded by her family. At 11 years old, she began her formal training in jazz, but her heart was quickly drawn back to the vibrant rhythms of Latin music and culture. With over 28 years in the dance industry, Julissa has made her mark through her unique style, deep passion for the arts, and creative choreography. Her distinct teaching approach continues to inspire dancers of all levels. Show off the moves you’ve mastered all season at the Latin Dance Showcase on April 2, 2027, from 5:30–9:30 p.m. Step into the spotlight and compete for a chance to win prizes!
